Vacate all overseas military bases and fill them with DOP volunteers. Like the Peace Corps... the department of peace corp people will be the youth from the US pool of eighteen to twenty-one year olds, as a mandatory service to the country. A great way to travel for free!

I give up... I'll never understand why we vote only two party's. I have never looked at any problem as black and white (blue/red). Same with the most important resource around... Water!

  By monitoring your local creek, river, or stretch of beach, you learn about its health, and the plants and animals it supports. You can help pinpoint pollution sources or identify widespread problems. It's not politics but it sure can hang one... 
Your data can provide the background information needed to develop restoration projects or pollution prevention measures. You can work with CCWI.org to respond to complaints of water pollution in your area.
